    Life's Too Short - Don't Speed Through It.

    We all experience the frustrations of modern life. Running late to work, slow traffic, and juggling a busy schedule but speed limits are put in place to protect all road users. Faster does not mean safer, and speeding will catch up to you.

    The effects of speeding go beyond breaking the law. This aggressive behavior can cause drivers to lose control of their vehicle, increase stopping time and distance, and confuse other road users who may not be able to judge distance correctly when drivers are speeding. Driving over the enforced limit endangers everyone on the road.

    Speeding puts you, your passengers, and others on the road at risk. Slow down, save a life. PennDOT is sharing safety tips as part of a National Speed Prevention campaign running now through July 31.
