Participate in the 12-Year Transportation Program (TYP), Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP), and Freight Movement Plan (FMP) Public Comment Period and share the information.
Every two years the State Transportation Commission (STC) and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) update Pennsylvania's 12-Year Transportation Program. The 45-day Public Comment Period for the update of the 2023 TYP began on Monday, March 1, and will continue through Wednesday, April 14, 2021.
The STC and PennDOT will document, review, and use the public feedback provided during the Public Comment Period to help identify needs and prioritize transportation projects in the TYP. This feedback will also be used to inform other statewide and regional transportation plans and programs such as Pennsylvania's Long Range Transportation Plan and the Freight Movement Plan.
