Bureau of Program Evaluation Overview
The Bureau of Program Evaluation is responsible for determining county assistance office accuracy in issuing public assistance benefits like the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families(TANF), Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and Medical Assistance. The bureau also analyzes program data to reduce agency and client errors.
Division of Corrective Action
- Provides support to county assistance offices and management through on-site assessment and prepares mandated corrective action plans for TANF, Medical Assistance and SNAP.
Division of Quality Control
- Conducts required federal and state quality control case reviews to determine the accuracy of benefit delivery in the TANF, Medical Assistance, and SNAP programs and prepares standard federal and state quality control reports.
Division of Program Implementation
- Serves as the key link for problem solving, procedural interpretation and technical assistance between the contractors and county assistance offices regarding design, policy, and operation of employment and training programs.
