Liquor Control Enforcement (BLCE)
A bureau of the Pennsylvania State Police, its purpose is to enforce the Commonwealth's liquor laws. Learn more about the BLCE.
Complaints
BLCE operates a toll-free hotline to receive complaints on Liquor Code Violations. When leaving a voicemail message, speak slowly and clearly, and provide all available information, including:
- Name and address of licensee or speakeasy operator
- Days of the week and/or time of day the violations are occurring
- Any other information that could assist the investigation
All information is kept confidential. Contact information is not required to report a violation, but is requested in case additional information is required.
Complaints can also be made online or at a BLCE district office.
Underage Drinking Hotline: 1-888-UNDER21
BLCE also operates a toll-free hotline to report underage drinking occurring at a location other than an establishment licensed to serve alcohol. Please provide all available information, including:
- Location where underage drinking is occurring
- Name of person or persons providing the alcohol if known
- Date and time underage drinking is occurring or planned to occur
- Any other information that could assist in the investigation
