What is the Payable Services Center?

The Payable Services Center is a part of the Bureau of Payable Services and consists of a call center and a vendor data center. Its call center staff provides the highest quality customer service in responding to procurement, invoice, vendor registration, and payment questions from commonwealth vendors and other agencies. The Vendor Data Center maintains the vendor master file, which contains vendor names, addresses, tax information, industry information, and payment information. The vendor master file is used in procurement, vendor communications and vendor payments. The Payable Services Center also collects vendor W-9 forms and distributes vendor IRS Forms 1099 for payments made to vendors through the commonwealth’s SAP enterprise resource planning system.
