    What is the Payable Services Center?

    The Payable Services Center is part of the Bureau of Payable Services in the Office of Comptroller Operations and includes a call center and a vendor data center.

    Call center staff answers questions on purchasing, invoices, vendor registration, and payment from Commonwealth vendors and other agencies.

    The vendor data center maintains the vendor master file, which contains vendor names, addresses, tax information, industry information, and payment information.  The vendor master file is used for purchasing, vendor communications, and vendor payments.

    The Payable Services Center also collects vendor W-9 forms and distributes vendor Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Forms 1099 for payments made to vendors through the Commonwealth’s SAP enterprise resource planning system.
