STEMlab at the State Library of Pennsylvania
The State Library of Pennsylvania STEMlab provides science, technology, engineering, and math programming and education to children, adults, librarians, and teachers in Pennsylvania.
Arrange to use the STEMlab by appointment or attend a program to learn various technological, biological, chemical and physics topics, forensics, anatomy & physiology, robotics/circuitry, microbiology and more as well as the scientific method for such enterprises. For teachers and librarians, the STEMlab staff tests various types and pieces of equipment and procedures and provide training and curriculum. Staff follow NSTA curriculum standards for teachers and librarians.
We're creating a lending library of materials so you may use the materials in your own classrooms or at home. This is a work in progress, please contac t us for more information.
In the future, we plan to offer an inventory of materials in the STEMllab. We'll also share staff-recommended class information, which we think learners will enjoy.
