In addition to the tax rates below for liquid fuels and fuels, a 1.1 cent per gallon underground storage tank fee is collected by the Insurance Department. This is a fee for the Underground Storage Tank Indemnification Fund and does not get deposited into the Motor License Fund.
The following rates are effective Jan. 1, 2024, and apply to tax periods through calendar year 2024.
